Community of Purpose picks up Charity Champion of the Year Gold Star Award!
An inspiring group of Bristolians – all of whom have shown incredible acts of courage, selflessness and ingenuity – were celebrated at the Bristol Post Gold Star Awards at the luxurious Jetty Hotel.
The awards, hosted by BBC Radio Bristol presenter Laura Rawlings at the Bristol Harbour Hotel, were sponsored by Bank of Ireland UK and are now in their 23rd year.
Opening the ceremony, Trinity Mirror South West managing director, Sarah Pullen said:
“This event is a fixture in the Bristol calendar. We have some amazing winners this year – they are courageous, caring, brave and inspiring.
I’m sure this afternoon we will not have a dry eye in the house. ”Community of Purpose won the charity champion of the year award which was sponsored by our friends at Bristol Water.
