If you can’t beat them Join them…
There are a number of amazing ways you can support the work of Community of Purpose, but, perhaps the most fun, memorable and meaningful way you can contribute is through volunteering.
There’s a host of ways in which you can get involved, including direct involvement in project delivery or in the important stuff that happens behind the scenes. If you’ve got a specific skill, a passion or valuable time then we’re certain Community of Purpose has a role for you.
Check out some examples of what you can get up to and fill out our contact form below to start your volunteer journey.
The Bristol Together Championships reaches schools across the greater Bristol region and involves children visiting their counterpart schools. Schools are deliberately paired up on the basis of being from differing parts of the city so groups are often required to travel a fair way. Could you be one of the trusted, friendly and efficient volunteer drivers who helps ensure children get to where they need to be?
Break Free Team
We’re always looking for active, creative and energetic individuals to join the Break Free team. Team members are essential to delivering high quality activity, group leadership and a listening ear to our young people. If you enjoy youth work, sports or leading activities then we’d love to hear from you!
Perhaps you have a bit less experience directly working with young people but you have had experience in public speaking or addressing groups? Perhaps you love what the Bristol Young Heroes Awards is all about and would like to spread the word?
We’re looking for BYHA Ambassadors to spread the word about nominations to schools, youth clubs and other organisations in the city in order to ensure we find the most deserving heroes!
